How Not To Overschedule Kids

Take 10 percent away from your plans.
Choose activities that they want to do.
Listen to your child.
Look for behavior and attitude changes.

Storytime on Wednesdays

Hawaii Kai Library on Wednesdays at 1030am for stories and then a craft to take home. Keiki listen to stories, sing songs and learn rhymes.

Puzzletime A Toddler Storytime Too

I am pleased to announce that the library will continue this wonderful PUZZLETIME playdate. It will always be the first Thursday of the month. The next one is scheduled for October 1, November 5th and December 3 at 1030am. Toddlers play with puzzles and then listen to stories and sing songs with Kristen. Even if you think your child is too young, please encourage this because you will be contributing to your childs development and learning to use the logical part of their brains. Please continue to introduce puzzles into your childs life.
And the libraries are having a hard time right now. So, if you can contribute any monetary means for them to continue their services to us, they will be extremely grateful.

Uncle Wayne is the director from UH Manoa Childrens Center who will be playing his guitar and singing songs. It will be 45 min. long and is for ALL ages for FREE! You can contact the library 2 weeks in advance to request a sign language interpreter and or any other special accomodations. This will be on the first floor of the library. If parking lot is full, you have street parking and or park at Taco Bell and or Koko Marina.
